‘Manoj Muntashir Is Arrogant’: Mahabharat’s Yudhishthir, Gajendra Chauhan On Wanting To Ban Adipurush
The release of Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer Adipurush left everyone disappointed. From Mukesh Khanna to veteran actors from Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana (1987), everyone has come forward to share their take on how Om Raut has made a mockery of the well-known mythological tale. Now actor Gajendra Chauhan, who essayed the role of Yudhishthir in BR Chopra’s television serial Mahabharat, too has slammed the makers and Manoj Muntashir.

The former Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Chairman, Chauhan expressed how he wants Adipurush to be banned. In a recent interaction with a news portal, he shared that he didn’t go to watch the movie, despite buying the tickets. He added how even though he had bought a ticket for the magnum-opus, his conscience refused to “accept that I should go and watch it in the theatre.” He went on to reveal that he realised that the film wasn’t worth it, after watching the trailers and the short clips. He said, “I want to see Lord Ram as Lord Shri Ram.” ALSO READ: ‘Adipurush Team Should Be BURNT At Fifty Degrees’: Mukesh Khanna On Prabhas-Kriti Sanon Starrer Hurting Hindu Sentiments

Talking about the poorly written dialogues by Manoj Munatshir being changed after it received backlash from the audience, the 66-year-old actor called the former stubborn and arrogant. He expressed how changing the dialogues now wouldn’t make a difference as it would benefit anyone. Quoted by the Free Press Journal, he added, “The government should immediately put a stop to it. I think Manoj Muntashir has introduced ignorance to the world. He really has no knowledge. He is still being stubborn. This arrogance is not right for any artist.” ALSO READ: Adipurush Dialogues Get A MASSIVE Change, After Receiving Backlash From Angry Netizens- Watch VIRAL Video
